What I Love
The classically painted illustrations stir feelings of nostalgia. I also love that the daily readings are relatively short (about a page), perfect for little learners and their attention spans. Glenys brings each section to life with her whimsical storytelling, capturing the imagination of all the readers in the family.
What My Littles Love
My littles, of course love the beautiful imagery. They also love Glenys’ gift for rhyme. Rhyming text has so many benefits for literacy development, so it’s such a joy to have Glenys use her talent to introduce littles to the Bible.
All in all, this book can be a beautiful addition to family Advent traditions. As we embrace the season of anticipation, let’s continue to draw our little’s attention to the most exciting gift of all: Jesus.
