I love thinking about my children’s future. Who may they grow up to be? What will they do for work? Where will they go? When they pretend the laundry basket is a rocket, I wonder if they may blossom into astronauts. I see their love for making cookies, and wonder if I may have a budding pastry chef on my hands. The possibilities are endless. But no matter where my girls go, or what they do, I pray they will grow up to love Jesus.

Wherever You Go, I Want You To Know by Melissa Kruger captures this prayer. It paints pictures of all the things we dream our littles may become, and shares we pray our littles would know and love Jesus.

What I Love

This books is so lovely. The illustrations and rhymes just flood the imagination of where our little ones may go in their life. This book is a sweet prayer to share with our little ones, but also would make a beautiful graduation gift. A prayer as grown children go off to college, letting them know that wherever they go we support them and pray they know Jesus’ love.

What My Littles Love

My girls loved the bright illustrations. They loved seeing all the kids throughout the book doing different jobs that they dream of doing some day. They excitedly pointed out the little girl flying airplanes and another one playing doctor. Both things they themselves love to play.

Where To Buy

This book would make a sweet addition to any home or church library. It also would make a wonderful gift for both a newborn or a high school graduate. It’s a wonderful way to let our children know that no matter what they are loved and prayed for.

Update: There is now a Board Book Version of ‘Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know’. This pint-sized version makes the perfect baby shower gift. My oldest has LOVED reading it with her baby brother. It has brought so so much joy to our family, and know it will to yours as well.
