I am always delighted to to find new faith-based books for babies. So I was delighted to receive a copy of “Great and Small Prayers for Babies” from Lifeway in return for my honest review. Featuring simple prayers, and sweet baby animal illustrations, this would make the perfect gift for a new little one.
What I Liked:
This book is just adorable. It’s a board book, which is perfect for little book-destroyers, and also has a lift-the-flap feature which keeps little ones engaged. This book also rhymes! Which is wonderful for developing literacy skills. At the end of the book is a simple scripture verse about thankfulness.
What the Littles Loved
My girls loved the baby animals. And really, who couldn’t, they are just adorable! Also, each page has a flap that you lift that reveals a hidden baby animal and the sound it makes. The girls LOVED this. Naomi (18 months) is especially into animal noise right now, so she loved imitating the baby animal sounds.
A Sweet Baby Gift
This is such a sweet gift for any new baby, and a beautiful addition to any nursery.
