November is Native American Heritage month, so let’s take some time to learn about the Native American Nations of North America. Let’s also take some time to learn about and from Native American Church leaders, and when the month is over, continue learning.

I know many of us not only want to listen and learn, but we want to bring our children on this journey with us. Though there is often a scarcity of resources to do this with kids. I love gathering resources and sharing them in blog posts to help fill this gap, but at the end of the day you can’t hand your preschooler a blog post, and when you are a tired parent in can feel overwhelming to weed through resources on a blog post. So I’ve started producing free printable resources to help make teaching our littles about the Global Church easier.

This is a simple print n’ go resource you can use to read, explore, and pray with your littles. My hope is this can introduce your family to a broader view of the church as a whole, and offer new voices to listen and learn from. Here’s what’s inside:
- Definitions of ‘indigenous’ and ‘Native American’ as well as a qr code linking to an Interactive map of Native American Nations, so you can easily find out more information about whose land you occupy and find ways to honor that as a family.
- Tiny biographies of Kahkewāquonāby(Peter Jones), Richard Twiss, Antonio Cuipa, and Kaitlin B. Curtice.
- Information about Native American storytelling and a qr code to listen to A First Nations Version of Jesus’ Miracles on the Sea of Galilee retold by Terry Wildman.
- How to say ‘hello’ in a few Native American languages.
- A tiny biography of Callie Bennet and a qr code to listen to her Spotify station.
- Book recommendations
- A qr code linking to a recipe for Three Sister’s Soup from the first Nations Development Institute.
- A qr code linked to a Kid-friendly video about Native Alaskan beading and a simple activity prompt.
- Prayer prompts and information about The Red Road, an organization we encourage you to consider financially supporting as you learn and pray.

Come pray n’ play with us.
