Have a young reader who’s reading skills are exploding, but maybe isn’t ready to tackle reading the Bible independently yet?
‘My Epic Doodletastic Bible Storybook‘ is a one-of-a-kind resource to help young learners engage with the Bible in a way that shows them the Bible is for them too.

What I Love
This book is such a unique concept. This would make a great companion for family devotions or helping young readers start a personal prayer time. As littles read, they color doodles of key words from the story. For example, in the story ‘A Ladder to Heaven (Genesis 28:12) there is a doodle of a ladder to color, angels, and a home. These are key concepts from the story that littles and their grown-ups alike can meditate and think about what the story tells us about God.

What My Kids Love
This is right at my rising 2nd graders level. She loves that they mix drawing and creativity with Bible Stories. As a tiny creative this spoke to her heart. As a bilingual in a Dual Language school, she was a little sad there isn’t a Spanish edition yet. As is common, and appropriate, in dual language settings, students are learning to read in Spanish, making some of the English language rules harder to navigate while free reading (y’all English eventually clicks on its own, but for speaking to my child’s heart language, Spanish is a must). However, Zondervan has a great reputation for making Spanish editions of their products, so hoping a Spanish edition is on the way soon. She would be ecstatic.
If you also have a tiny creative, this resource would make a fantastic gift. Whether looking for a way to incorporate personal faith into daily rhythms, or wanting something help an older child sit through worship service, this can be a great tool.
